use any walkie-talkie , listen to weakest(last ) tone, be quick to rotate radio and notice worst reception , the direction is in-line with antenna Unlike GPS tracker the beacon works in areas without cell coverage, underground and from inside car trunk.The beacon can transmit days and can’t be jammed. Normally takes 30-45 minutes to locate in 2-5km radius.
