This was filmed in March at Mt Martha, Vic. I was there for a Cub Scouts Billy Cart Derby… but it’s always handy to have an RC plane in the car just in case oppertunities like this turn up

This is a home made rc plane which wingspan is more than 1,6 m. It’s made from materials that I had at home so the total cost was 0. I tried to build a pusher glider. The wings are the same of the falcon (Lee) and, although they were reinforced, this plane was almost impossible to fly properly due to the wings were constantly flexing, so it didn’t obey and made what I wanted to. It has no ailerons, only rudder, so it was not very responsive. In first flights, rudder channel was inverted, but in the others was OK. Surprisingly, the plane came back in one piece!
